💡Project Description:

Our client is one of the leading financial services with an office located in Limassol, Cyprus. As one of the biggest banks in Asia, they are leading the financial sector in terms of innovation and future-proof IT products. Having adopted strong Agile principles for their developer teams, they are now looking for an experienced Agile Couch to support the full embrace of this methodology top-down, meaning other teams and stakeholders as well.

In this position, your presence in the office is required every day during onboarding (first 3 months) - which is why we would like to extend to you a proposition of relocation to Limassol for 6 months. Your move will be supported by our relocation package worth 2000 EUR.

Please note - for this position we can relocate only candidates from EU.

Project Length: Long-term

Work Model: On location (5 days a week during onboarding, then 1-2 days/week)

📈 Your Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating the current organizational structure and coming up with areas of improvement 
  • Working closely with key roles within the organization like Upper Management, Heads of Software Engineering, Chapter Leads and other Project Managers to ensure high alignment between teams
  • Streamlining processes to create efficiency - you will play an important role in the long-term strategy of the organization
  • Support stakeholders and non-developer teams in adapting to the Scrum framework: roadmaps, workshops, coaching…
  • Providing insight into the performance, compatibility and security of projects
  • Working closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners, supporting them in their strategies
  • Promoting a culture of constant improvement, accountability, and ownership
  • Becoming a Scrum and Agile ambassador for the entire organization
  • Improving product and service team’s Scrum Maturity - assessing it first and then fine-tuning it at a sustainable level
  • Analyzing team metrics - working with data to pinpoint areas for improvement and then coming up with plans to tackle them

🔑 Key Requirements:

  • Four or more years of experience as an Agile Coach
  • Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with international clients only)
  • Experience in the following: Kanban, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Spotify Model
  • Strong familiarity with the technicalities of the software development processes as well as quality assurance processes
  • An Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master certification
  • Strong knowledge of multiple established Agile methodologies such as different Burndown approaches, different Retrospective formats, how to handle bugs, estimation approaches, Scrum of Scrums, DoD, Release Management, etc
  • Successful Scrum introduction to teams of a varying scale - from simple to complex

➕ Nice to have: 

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence workspace
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of coaching techniques
  • Deep understanding of scaling processes and how to apply them to a large, international organization
  • Experience with project management in fintech specifically
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is welcome
