Vi pratade med Greg Kubrakiewicz, Head of Technology p\u00e5 Yieldbird, som f\u00f6rklarar hur samarbetet med Codest har gjort det m\u00f6jligt att bli listad p\u00e5 16:e plats i Deloitte 'Technology Fast 50 Centraleuropa<\/a>\u2018.<\/p>\n

Hur f\u00f6ddes den h\u00e4r id\u00e9n?<\/h2>\n

Greg Kubrakiewicz: Allt b\u00f6rjade med Adtaily, som gjorde det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r sm\u00e5 annons\u00f6rer som fris\u00f6rer eller hotell att placera sina annonser p\u00e5 st\u00f6rre portaler p\u00e5 regionala Gazeta.pl-sajter. Adtailys annonsn\u00e4tverk arbetade med dem. Under tiden b\u00f6rjade Marcin Ekiert och Piotrek Niedziela, inspirerade av Fredrik, leka fr\u00e5n publicistens sida med AdX-inst\u00e4llningar och m\u00e4rkte att de p\u00e5 detta s\u00e4tt kunde tj\u00e4na mer pengar med dem. N\u00e4sta steg var ett f\u00f6rs\u00f6k att skriva en programvara som skulle automatisera och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra alla dessa koncept p\u00e5 tv\u00e5 s\u00e4tt: antingen genom automatisering och \u00f6kad skala, eller genom att anv\u00e4nda mer komplexa algoritmer som skulle vara b\u00e4ttre \u00e4n en m\u00e4nniska.<\/p>\n

Hur fungerade implementeringsprocessen?<\/h2>\n

Det tog lite tid att hitta ett s\u00e4tt att automatisera det, l\u00e4ra k\u00e4nna processen, hur det fungerar, uppfinna n\u00e5gra s\u00e4tt f\u00f6r det och hur man ber\u00e4ttar f\u00f6r utvecklare fr\u00e5n Codest om det s\u00e5 att de kan producera ett verktyg som skapar merv\u00e4rde. Och sedan blev det som en sn\u00f6bollseffekt, det spred sig, vi fick fler och fler id\u00e9er om vad vi kunde optimera.<\/p>\n

Senare skapade vi en hel klass av produkter, dvs. en wrapper som verkligen automatiserade processer som att skapa setups f\u00f6r publishers. Dessutom kan b\u00e5de spr\u00e5kliga och kulturella barri\u00e4rer hos f\u00f6rlagen utg\u00f6ra ett stort hinder. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r stod det klart att vi beh\u00f6vde Codest f\u00f6r att skapa en enkel och anv\u00e4ndarv\u00e4nlig Produkt<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hur tog marknaden emot Yieldbird?<\/h2>\n

Marknaden f\u00f6r utgivare, leverant\u00f6rer av annonsutrymme, var ganska tom, det fanns inga produkter som var avsedda f\u00f6r dessa utgivare. S\u00e5 id\u00e9n om att optimera annonsutrymmet fungerade. N\u00e4sta steg var id\u00e9n om en tj\u00e4nst som skulle hj\u00e4lpa utgivarna att tj\u00e4na mer p\u00e5 annonsutrymmet och s\u00e4tta st\u00f6rre press p\u00e5 annons\u00f6rerna.<\/p>\n

N\u00e5gra v\u00e4lkomnade oss<\/a> v\u00e4ldigt varmt, eftersom de verkligen ville tj\u00e4na mer pengar, men vissa var mycket misst\u00e4nksamma, eller s\u00e5 kunde vi inte f\u00f6rklara f\u00f6r dem vad det hela handlade om.
