Toen verscheen Yieldbird en veranderde de realiteit van veel uitgevers. Hoe is het gebeurd? We spraken met Greg Kubrakiewicz, hoofd technologie bij Yieldbird, die uitlegt hoe de samenwerking met Codest het mogelijk heeft gemaakt om op de 16e plaats te komen in de lijst van Deloitte.<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/content\/campaigns\/ce\/technology\/fast-50\/ce-fast-50-2018.html\">Technologie Fast 50 Centraal-Europa<\/a>\u2018.<\/p>\n<h2>Hoe is dit hele idee ontstaan?<\/h2>\n<p>Greg Kubrakiewicz: Het begon allemaal met Adtaily, waarmee kleine adverteerders zoals kappers of hotels hun advertenties konden plaatsen op grotere portals op regionale Gazeta.pl sites. Het advertentienetwerk Adtaily werkte met hen samen. Ondertussen begonnen Marcin Ekiert en Piotrek Niedziela, ge\u00efnspireerd door Fredrik, vanuit de uitgeverskant te spelen met AdX-instellingen en merkten dat ze er op deze manier meer geld mee konden verdienen. Het had ook te maken met het feit dat al het geld op de markt voor programmatic afkomstig is van adverteerders.<\/p>\n<p>Heel programmatic was toen gericht op de bron van geld aan de kant van de kopers, de markt was krap, de concurrentie groot. Op basis van de opgedane kennis cre\u00eberden we Yield Optimization en gedurende enkele jaren kregen we steeds meer ervaring op vele markten.<\/p>\n<p>De volgende stap was een poging om software te schrijven die al deze concepten op twee manieren automatiseert en verbetert: ofwel door automatisering en schaalvergroting, ofwel door complexere algoritmen te gebruiken die beter zijn dan een mens.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2024\/05\/interview_1.jpg\" alt=\"Yieldbird groeit dynamisch\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Hoe verliep het implementatieproces?<\/h2>\n<p>Het kostte wat tijd om een manier te vinden om het te automatiseren, om het proces en de manier waarop het werkt te leren kennen, om er wat manieren voor te bedenken en om de ontwikkelaars van Codest erover te vertellen zodat ze een tool konden maken die toegevoegde waarde cre\u00ebert. En toen ging het als een sneeuwbaleffect, het verspreidde zich, we hadden steeds meer idee\u00ebn om te optimaliseren.<\/p>\n<p>Later maakten we een hele klasse producten, namelijk een wrapper die processen zoals het maken van setups voor publishers echt automatiseerde. Setups zijn constructies die deze uitgevers helpen hun winst te verhogen door de vraag te vergroten. <a href=\"https:\/\/thecodest.co\/nl\/dictionary\/why-is-javascript-so-popular\/\">javascript<\/a> codes, integreren met de site. Het was behoorlijk ingewikkeld, vooral vanwege de Javascript <a href=\"https:\/\/thecodest.co\/nl\/dictionary\/what-is-code-refactoring\/\">code<\/a> die moet worden ge\u00efntegreerd met een website, en niet elke uitgever heeft zijn eigen ontwikkelingsbronnen. Ook de taal- en cultuurbarri\u00e8res met de uitgevers kunnen een behoorlijk obstakel vormen. <strong>Daarom was het duidelijk dat we Codest nodig hadden om een gemakkelijke en gebruiksvriendelijke <a href=\"https:\/\/thecodest.co\/nl\/dictionary\/how-to-make-product\/\">product<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2024\/05\/interview2.jpg\" alt=\"Goede software was de sleutel tot succes\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Hoe heeft de markt Yieldbird ontvangen?<\/h2>\n<p>De uitgeversmarkt, de leverancier van advertentieruimte, was vrij leeg, er waren geen producten speciaal voor deze uitgevers. Het idee om de advertentieruimte te optimaliseren werkte dus. De volgende fase was het idee voor een dienst die uitgevers helpt meer te verdienen aan advertentieruimte en meer druk uit te oefenen op adverteerders.<\/p>\n<p>Sommige verwelkomd <a href=\"https:\/\/thecodest.co\/nl\/blog\/why-us-companies-are-opting-for-polish-developers\/\">us<\/a> echt warm, want ze wilden echt meer geld verdienen, maar sommigen waren erg wantrouwend, of we konden ze niet uitleggen waar het allemaal om ging. De drempel is vrij hoog omdat het geen gemakkelijk of goedkoop product is.
