En gang i tiden var det en marked<\/a> uten noen AdX-optimalisering. S\u00e5 dukket en Yieldbird opp og endret virkeligheten for mange utgivere. Hvordan skjedde det? Greg Kubrakiewicz: Det hele begynte med Adtaily, som gjorde det mulig for sm\u00e5 annons\u00f8rer som fris\u00f8rer eller hoteller \u00e5 plassere annonsene sine p\u00e5 st\u00f8rre portaler p\u00e5 regionale Gazeta.pl-nettsteder. Adtaily-annonsenettverket jobbet med dem. I mellomtiden begynte Marcin Ekiert og Piotrek Niedziela, inspirert av Fredrik, \u00e5 leke med AdX-innstillingene fra utgiverens side, og oppdaget at de p\u00e5 denne m\u00e5ten kunne tjene mer penger med dem. Hele programmatikken fokuserte da p\u00e5 kilden til penger fra kj\u00f8persiden, markedet var stramt, konkurransen var stor. Basert p\u00e5 den kunnskapen vi hadde opparbeidet oss, opprettet vi Yield Optimization, og i flere \u00e5r ble vi mer og mer erfarne p\u00e5 mange markeder.<\/p>\n

Det neste steget var et fors\u00f8k p\u00e5 \u00e5 skrive programvare som kunne automatisere og forbedre alle disse konseptene p\u00e5 to m\u00e5ter: enten ved \u00e5 automatisere og \u00f8ke skalaen, eller ved \u00e5 bruke mer komplekse algoritmer som ville v\u00e6re bedre enn et menneske.<\/p>\n

\"Yieldbird<\/p>\n

Hvordan fungerte implementeringsprosessen?<\/h2>\n

Det tok litt tid \u00e5 finne en m\u00e5te \u00e5 automatisere det p\u00e5, bli kjent med prosessen, m\u00e5ten den fungerer p\u00e5, finne opp noen m\u00e5ter \u00e5 gj\u00f8re det p\u00e5 og hvordan vi kunne fortelle utviklerne i Codest om det, slik at de kunne lage et verkt\u00f8y som skaper merverdi. Og s\u00e5 gikk det som en sn\u00f8balleffekt, det spredte seg, og vi fikk flere og flere ideer om hva vi kunne optimalisere.<\/p>\n

Senere laget vi en hel klasse av produkter, dvs. en wrapper som automatiserte prosesser som \u00e5 lage oppsett for utgivere. Oppsett er konstruksjoner som hjelper disse utgiverne med \u00e5 \u00f8ke fortjenesten ved \u00e5 \u00f8ke ettersp\u00f8rselen, det krevde at utgiveren installerte javascript<\/a> koder, integrere med nettstedet. Det var ganske komplisert, hovedsakelig p\u00e5 grunn av Javascript kode<\/a> som m\u00e5 integreres med et nettsted, og ikke alle forlag har egne utviklingsressurser. I tillegg kan b\u00e5de spr\u00e5klige og kulturelle barrierer hos forlagene v\u00e6re et stort hinder. Derfor var det klart at vi trengte Codest til \u00e5 lage en enkel og brukervennlig produkt<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hvordan tok markedet imot Yieldbird?<\/h2>\n

Markedet for utgivere, leverand\u00f8rer av reklameplass, var ganske tomt, og det fantes ingen produkter dedikert til disse utgiverne. S\u00e5 ideen om \u00e5 optimalisere reklameplassen fungerte. Neste trinn var ideen om en tjeneste som skulle hjelpe utgiverne med \u00e5 tjene mer p\u00e5 annonseplassen og legge st\u00f8rre press p\u00e5 annons\u00f8rene.<\/p>\n

Noen \u00f8nsket velkommen oss<\/a> veldig varmt, ettersom de virkelig \u00f8nsket \u00e5 tjene mer penger, men noen var veldig mistenksomme, eller vi kunne ikke forklare dem hva det hele dreide seg om. Forst\u00e5elsesbarrieren er ganske stor, fordi det ikke er et enkelt eller billig produkt. Hver publisher er i en annen situasjon og har et annet oppsett, og derfor er produktene v\u00e5re skreddersydd for \u00e5 m\u00e5le og vokse sammen med publisistene v\u00e5re.<\/p>\n
