Back face culling je technika pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00e1 v po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 grafice ke zlep\u0161en\u00ed v\u00fdkonu vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed trojrozm\u011brn\u00fdch objekt\u016f. Jedn\u00e1 se o proces vy\u0159azov\u00e1n\u00ed ploch trojrozm\u011brn\u00e9ho objektu, kter\u00e9 nejsou viditeln\u00e9 pro div\u00e1ka. Tato technika je zalo\u017eena na principu, \u017ee tv\u00e1\u0159 je viditeln\u00e1 pouze tehdy, pokud jej\u00ed norm\u00e1lov\u00fd vektor sm\u011b\u0159uje k div\u00e1kovi.<\/p>\n

P\u0159i vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed 3D objektu se kontroluje, zda je ka\u017ed\u00e1 strana objektu oto\u010dena sm\u011brem k div\u00e1kovi nebo od n\u011bj. Pokud je tv\u00e1\u0159 obr\u00e1cena sm\u011brem od div\u00e1ka, je vy\u0159azena a vykreslovac\u00ed j\u00e1dro p\u0159ejde na dal\u0161\u00ed tv\u00e1\u0159. Tento proces se naz\u00fdv\u00e1 back face culling.<\/p>\n

Back face culling je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e1 technika pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00e1 v 3D grafice, proto\u017ee m\u016f\u017ee v\u00fdrazn\u011b zlep\u0161it v\u00fdkon procesu vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed. Vy\u0159azen\u00edm neviditeln\u00fdch ploch se vykreslovac\u00ed j\u00e1dro m\u016f\u017ee soust\u0159edit pouze na vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed viditeln\u00fdch ploch, \u010d\u00edm\u017e se sn\u00ed\u017e\u00ed po\u010det v\u00fdpo\u010dt\u016f pot\u0159ebn\u00fdch k vykreslen\u00ed sc\u00e9ny. To zase sni\u017euje dobu pot\u0159ebnou k vykreslen\u00ed sc\u00e9ny, tak\u017ee proces vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed je efektivn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Vy\u0159ez\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed zadn\u00edch ploch se pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 v mnoha 3D grafick\u00fdch aplikac\u00edch, v\u010detn\u011b videoher, virtu\u00e1ln\u00ed reality a po\u010d\u00edta\u010dem podporovan\u00e9ho navrhov\u00e1n\u00ed (CAD<\/a>) software. Je u\u017eite\u010dn\u00fd zejm\u00e9na v aplikac\u00edch, kter\u00e9 vy\u017eaduj\u00ed vykreslov\u00e1n\u00ed v re\u00e1ln\u00e9m \u010dase, jako jsou videohry, kde je v\u00fdkon vykreslovac\u00edho j\u00e1dra rozhoduj\u00edc\u00ed pro u\u017eivatelsk\u00fd z\u00e1\u017eitek.<\/p>\n
