Senior Test Automation Engineer 

💡Project Description:

In this role, you will contribute to a fintech project about providing loans to funds managed by asset managers. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to its automation. The app is hosted on a stand-alone AWS account. Tech stack in the project is: GraphQL with Hasura, Postgres, AWS Services, Cypress. Some automation has already been implemented, but there are more plans in the pipeline. 

📈 Your Responsibilities:

  • Draft design documents for prompt and valuable feedback.
  • Generate automated test scripts to validate product functionality and performance across development stages.
  • Formulate detailed and well-organized test plans and cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks effectively.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs meticulously.
  • Execute comprehensive regression testing post-bug resolution.
  • Establish and implement testing procedures to align with client requirements.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

🔑 Key Requirements:

  • Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with international clients only)
  • Three or more years of Quality Assurance / Test Automation experience.
  • Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python.
  • Background in software integration and system testing within cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with performance testing, integration testing, and test automation, with a preference for Cypress due to existing code.
  • Experience in CI/CD, capable of integrating with Build pipelines.
  • Competence in software development tools like Git and Gitlab.

➕ Nice to have: 

  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools namely Confluence and Jira
  • Knowledge of REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML web services
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary browser technologies
