SQL/Python Software Engineer

💡Project description:

Here, you will have an opportunity to contribute to a banking app for one of the leading financial groups in Japan. This project involves building a brand new product for the bank. It involves providing an intricate and comprehensive loan management solution that caters to large-scale asset managers. This financial platform focuses on handling sizable short-term loans, typically ranging from $10 million to $500 million, and includes the provision of complex financial instruments like revolving credit facilities.

The software solution aims to be transparent and insightful, providing a multitude of reports for various stakeholders. Additionally, it incorporates a robust workflow system to guide and track changes, ensuring every action is validated and monitored for quality and security.

In summary, the project is a multifaceted and advanced loan management system capable of managing vast financial transactions, with a focus on security, transparency, accuracy, and convenience for both lenders and asset managers.

✅ Key Requirements (skills & experience):

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Python
• 5+ years of commercial experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL or similar)
• Good knowledge of database performance issues, indexes and the SQL language itself
• Proficient experience with software development tools such as Git and Gitlab
• Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with international clients only)
  
  ➕Nice to have:
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Experience working with Docker would be beneficial
• Knowledge or experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments
